OWENSBORO, Ky. — Charlotte Ann Beavin, 76, of Owensboro, died Aug. 15, 2017, while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born on Feb. 28, 1941, in Hartford, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Golda and Edward Newton Williams.
She was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. She had been employed as a medical receptionist for Drs. John and Marilyn Sanders, Dr. Larry Wigginton, Dr. Don Riley and Dr. Robert Jackson.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Boone, Iona Hendrix, Emily Hoover, Edward Williams, Donald Williams, and J.T. Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Spalding (Michael); four grandchildren, Josh Drury (Heather), John Michael Spalding, Corey Spalding, and Haley Haynes; two great-grandchildren, Braydon and Cammi Drury; and her dog, Ranger.
Services are 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Burial is in Walton’s Creek Cemetery in Centertown, Kentucky. Visitation is from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
