DRAKESBORO, Ky. — Terry Lewis Blake, 53, died peacefully at his home on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017. He was born Feb. 9, 1964, to Mary Frances Newman Blake and Harold Ray Blake of Beech Creek, Kentucky.
Terry remained a resident of Beech Creek his entire life.
Terry enjoyed camping, fishing and “tinkering” on cars, motorcycles and other engines. He was a member of Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Danny Blake.
Terry is survived by his companion of many years, Heather Stewart, of Beech Creek; his children, Chris Blake, Leah Blake, and Lucas Blake, all of O’Fallon, Missouri, and Selena Stewart, Billy Stewart, and Stormy Stewart, of Beech Creek; granddaughter, McKenna Blake; brothers, Mike (Peggy) Blake, of Beech Creek, Joe Blake, of Belton, Kentucky, and Keith (Terri) Blake, of Greenville, Kentucky; and sisters, Barbara (Hugh) Bunch, of Hartford, Kentucky, and Sherry (Jerry) Rickman, of Browder, Kentucky; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, at Tucker Funeral Home in Beechmont, Kentucky. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Terry Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery at Leigh’s Chapel.
