CROMWELL, Ky. — Billy Joe Henderson, 64, of Cromwell, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017, at his home. He was born May, 12, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Carl and Thelma Fulton Henderson.
Mr. Henderson attended Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell and worked in construction as an equipment operator.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandy Lynn Brown Henderson.
Survivors include one son, Billy (Tanya) Henderson Jr., of Hartford, Kentucky; three daughters, Jessie (Joe) Raymer, of Horse Branch, Kentucky, Tammy (Jeff) Hawes, of Cromwell, and Shanna Leach, of University Place, Washington; four brothers, Carl (Nelda) Henderson, of Cromwell, Jackie (Marilyn) Henderson, of Cromwell, Ronnie Henderson, of McHenry, and Jerry “Mustard” Henderson, of Cromwell; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Heflin, of McHenry, and Janice (Billy) Barron, of McHenry, and his companion, Polly Cooper, of Fordsville, Kentucky. Billy was blessed with 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Oak Grove Church of God in Cromwell with Bro. Steve Leach and Bro. Bobby Joe Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Bald Knob Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Billy’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Church of God and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church.
