EVANSVILLE, Ind. — David E. Doolin, 70, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Paul Doolin and Belva Decker Doolin.

Mr. Doolin was a manager of The Executive Inn and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Eugene Doolin; and two sisters, Anna Mae Wilson and Evalene Nabours.

Survivors include one brother, Danny Doolin, of Evansville; one sister, Marvadene (Bill) Tate, of Horse Branch, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Ky. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattyville with Military Honors provided by the Wesley Phelps Honor Guard. Friends may visit with Mr. Doolin’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
