BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Esther Bernice Funk, 81, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, under the Care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born April 12, 1936, in Biloxi, Miss., to the late Norman and Martha Aleea Thompson Noble.

She was a spray painter for Thompson Industries.

Aside from her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Darrell “Billie” Funk; one son, Mac Arthur Funk; one granddaughter, Kaylie Boyles; and one brother, Dan Noble.

Survivors include six children, Bobby (Pam) Funk, of Huntsville, Ala., Don (Renne) Funk, of Beaver Dam, Jackie (Mairi) Funk, of Dixon, Mo., Charles Funk, of Irvington, Ala., Cynthia Carol (AL) Jager, of Indiana, and Elizabeth (Mike) Collard, of Beaver Dam; three brothers, Johnny Noble, James Noble, and Bill Noble; three sisters, Hattie Mae, and Norma Jean, and Willie. Ms. Esther was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford is in charge of the arrangements.
