FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Joseph Reat Kirk, 69, of Fordsville, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at his home. He was born in Fordsville to the late Conley and Florence Kirk.
He was a retired construction contractor, an Army veteran and a member of the V.F.W.
Survivors include his children, Randy Kirk, of Arkansas, Beth Kirk, of Hartford, Ky., Daniel Kirk, of Fordsville, and Joe Kirk, of Owensboro; brothers, Sherwood (Marsha) Kirk, of Owensboro, Ky., Arthur Dale Kirk, of Falls of Rough, Ky., and Norris Day Kirk, of Fordsville; and several grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. on Monday, April 10, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Fordsville, with military honors by the Ohio County Honor Guard. Visitation is 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
