Lois M. Goodman, 80, of Beaver Dam, Ky., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at The Heartford House in Owensboro. She was born in Ohio County, Oct. 3, 1935, daughter of the late Romey and Emma Jean Embry Daugherty.
Lois was retired from Brown-Williamson Tobacco Company, where she worked in shipping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Goodman; daughters, Janice Tenerio and Sandy Goodman; son, Randy Goodman and grandson Bryan Bowling.
Survivors include three daughters Roberta Finch, Sue Branson and Sheri McAdams; brother, Buddy Daugherty; sisters, Betty Vance and Pat Brown, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and special nephew and wife, Terry and Sandy Daugherty.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
