Charles B. Lindsey, 78, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at his residence. Charles was born on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1936, in Butler County, Ky., to the late Leburn and Nollie Cardwell Lindsey.

He was a retired mechanic from Coleman Brothers Motors.

Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Rondal Lindsey; and two sisters, Mae Lue Flener and Joyce Sue Phelps.

Charles B. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Wilma Renfrow Lindsey, of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter, Loretta Cox husband Gary, of Morgantown, Ky.; one son, Randall Lindsey fiancé Kathy Kirby, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; four sisters, Berthalene Flener, of Morgantown, Ky., Kathalene Childress, husband Buster, of Louisville, Ky., Maxine West, of Louisville, Ky., and Judy Clark, of Bowling Green, Ky.; one brother, Carlton Lindsey, of Illinois; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Warren Brooks officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
