Brady Clarron Phelps, 64, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, at his residence. Brady was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Clarron C. and Dessie Marie Snodgrass Phelps.
He retired as a custodian from Fifth District Elementary School and was a member of Gilstrap Church of Christ.
Other than his parents, Brady is preceded in death by two sisters, Sharron Sue and Zellie Marie Phelps; and one nephew, Benjamin Phelps.
Brady Clarron Phelps is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn Phelps, of Morgantown, Ky.; three daughters, Christy Phelps, of Bowling Green, Ky., Taylor Phelps, of Morgantown, Ky., and Ashley Tanner, husband, John, of Hartford, Ky.; one son, Brian Phelps, wife Terra, of Morgantown, Ky.; two granddaughters, Brinlee Phelps, of Morgantown, Ky., and Violet Tanner, of Hartford, Ky.; one brother, Jerry Phelps, wife Susan, of Kuttawa, Ky.; one sister, Sherry Morris, husband Dale, of Morgantown, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Sam Dick officiating. Burial will be in the Warren’s Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
