Bobby Lynn Green, 69, of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born March 9, 1946, in Beaver Dam to the late Archie and Lucille Johnson Green.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, Baptist faith, and retired from Kentucky Transportation Department.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, William Green.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Shelia Sellers Green, of Beaver Dam; two sons, Scoty (Larissa) Green, of Murphysboro, Ill., and Steven (Richele) Green, of Morganfield, Ky. Bobby was blessed with three grandchildren, Hannah Green, Skyler Green, and Noah Green.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jeff Evans officiating. Burial will be in Taylortown Cemetery near Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Military Honors will be performed by Wesley Phelps Honor Guard.
