Imojean (Bratcher) Hayse, 73, of Leitchfield, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 3, 1942, in Grayson County, the daughter of the late Henry Arkus and Vegie Marie (Pierce) Bratcher.
Imojean was a member of the McGrew Baptist Church for over 38 years. She was also a sewing machine operator.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hayse; one daughter, Connie Jean Hayes; two brothers, Charlie and Carlie Bratcher; one sister, Patsy Decker; and one daughter-in-law, Kelly Bratcher.
Imojean is survived by her two sons, Ricky A. Bratcher, of Ohio County, and Floyd Allen Hayse (Mary), of Leitchfield; one daughter, Charlotte Ann Bratcher (Danny), of Caneyville; seven grandchildren, Dana Beatty (Nathan), Magan Sosh (Joey), Jennifer O’Neal (Brian), Steven Hayse, Trena and Daniel Bratcher and Gracie Hayse; three great-grandchildren, Lucas and Allie Beatty and Brinslee O’Neal and a fourth on the way, Baby Sosh; three brothers, Joseph Bratcher (Gail), Roger Bratcher (Alma) and Tommy Bratcher (Debbie), all of Caneyville; two sisters, Barbara Renfrow (WL), of Horse Branch, and Beatrice VanMeter (McClee), of Annetta.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 20 at 1 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Charlie Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Friday after 12 noon and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.
