Bobby Gene Brown, 80, of Holland, Ohio, formerly of Nashville, Tenn., passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Luthern Village at Wolf Creek in Holland, Ohio. Bobby was born on March 28, 1935, in Butler County, Ky., to the late Alvin Shelley Brown and Annie Easter Flewallen Brown.
He was a United States Army Veteran where he served as a cook and a retired salesman for Dillard’s.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Denzil and Charles Brown; and two sisters, Doris Mitchell and Carol Brown.
Bobby Gene Brown is survived by his two daughters, Marianna Eilerman and husband, James, of Toledo, Ohio, and Annesa Preston and husband, Casey, of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Amanda McCrudy, of Toledo, Ohio, Kelsey Eilerman, of Toledo, Ohio, and Noah Preston, of Nashville, Tenn.; four sisters, Barbara Greathouse, of Morgantown, Ky., Shirley Logsdon, of Lewisburg, Ky., Betty Mattox, of Cromwell, Ky., and June Church, of Shepherdsville, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday, June 3, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Roger Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Monticello Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday June 3, from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
