Betty Jean Cooper, of Owensboro, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2015. She was born on Oct. 24, 1938, to the late Arthur Lee Cooper and Mamie Blair Cooper in Ohio County, Ky.
She loved dancing and reading the Bible.
She is survived by her children, Vicki Rearden, Cliff Rearden, Cole (Michelle) Rearden, and Jeff Rearden; a sister, Ruth Crowe; six grandkids and 14 great-grandkids.
Services will be on Thursday May 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Cecil Funeral in Whitesville, Ky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro.
