Candy Overton, 45, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at her residence. Candy was born March 1, 1970, in Bowling Green, Ky., to Onard, Sr., and Carolyn House Wilson.
She was a homemaker and preceded in death by one brother, Onard Wilson, Jr.
Candy Overton is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Overton, of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter, Heather Embry, of Louisville, Ky.; one son, Terry Embry, of Morgantown, Ky.; her parents, Onard, Sr., and Carolyn Wilson, of Morgantown, Ky.; two grandchildren, Blake and Candance Embry, of Morgantown, Ky.; sister, Carlon Darcia Wilson, of Morgantown, Ky.; three nieces, Jessie Nichole Wilson and Phoenix Marie Nash, both of Morgantown, Ky., and Ava Rayann Overton, of Beaver Dam, Ky.; and one nephew, Jaxten Ray Overton, of Beaver Dam, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Saturday May 23, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Dannie Overton officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 10 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
