Jack Butterworth, 71, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on Oct. 1, 1943, in Charleston, W.Va., son of the late Herb and Rosie Proctor Butterworth.
Jack was an auto mechanic, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Centertown Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Retha Keener Butterworth; five sons Samuel, William, James, Jack Jr., and Joe Butterworth; one daughter, Betty Hamilton, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at graveside on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Centertown Cemetery at 2 p.m. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
