Bobby Gene Embry, 73, of Beaver Dam, passed away, Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Ohio County Hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Butler County to the late Jimmy and Christine Embry.
He was a member of Longview General Baptist Church and was a retired distributor for Royal Crown Bottling Company.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Embry; and his sister, Sue Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Evans Embry, of Beaver Dam; six children, Bobbi Jo (Marcus) Baker, of Madisonville, Tina (David) Andrews, of Wingo, Ky., David (Abera) Embry, of Beaver Dam, Timmy (Terri) Cessna, of Fairfield, Ill., Terry (Theresa) Cessna, of Echols, and Troy (Leesia) Cessna, of Morgantown; one brother, Danny Ray (Mary) Embry, of Reynolds Station; two sisters, Melissa (Walter) Burgess, of Beaver Dam, and Sheila Embry, of Morgantown; 13 grandchildren, Christopher Marcus (Beth) Baker, Laurna Diesel, Jordan Cessna, Kori and Kyle Francis, Trenton Cessna, Lucas Cessna, Kendra Cessna, Kaley Cessna, Austin Francis, Jr. Andrews, Aria Embry and Holly Pedigo; and six great-grandchildren, Chloe Marie Baker, Harper Cessna, Kendall Diesel, Keaton Diesel, Trinity Rayne Martin and Teagan Pedigo.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 4, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Jay Raymond officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
