Bertie Lou Reynolds, 86, of Beaver Dam, died Sunday, April 26, 2015, at her home under the loving care of her two daughters and Hospice of Ohio County. She was born June 16, 1928, in McCreary County to the late John and Ollie Bell Greene.
She was a member of Taylor Mine Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Rev. Dillard Howard Reynolds; two brothers, Robert Greene and Everett Greene; and three sisters, Lorene Greene, Marjorie Greene and Beulah Payne; and one grandson, Dustin Ray Hamlin.
Survivors include her children, John W. (Vonda) Reynolds, of Beaver Dam, David W. (Brenda) Reynolds, of Hartford, Patricia (Ray) Hamlin, of Pine Knot, Ky., Sharon A. Reynolds, of Beaver Dam, and Rebecca Reynolds, of Beaver Dam, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Mine Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
