David Eugene Mattingly, 58, of Fordsville, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
He was born in Owensboro, was a mechanic and a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Lionel Earl “Rip” and Nanette Mattingly, of Fordsville; his children, Mendy (Steve) DeWitt, of Hardinsburg, and Seth (Amy) Mattingly, of Fordsville; five grandchildren, Darrian, Shaylen, Jadeyn, Paxton and Lynlee; a brother, Ricky Lewis Mattingly, of Fordsville; and two nephews, Jamey and Drew Mattingly.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pattiville. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
