Reba Louise Filback Young, 79, of Beaver Dam, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015, at Ohio County Hospital. She was born Dec. 25, 1935, in Ohio County to the late Ules and Edna Stewart Evans.
She was a homemaker and was of Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ules and Edna Evans; her first husband, Edward Filback; her second husband, Henry Young; two daughters, Stella Mae Dockery and Mary Elizabeth Felty; one sister, Gladys Tichenor; and two brothers, Boonie Evans and Nelson Evans; and three grandsons, Timothy “Timmy” Lloyd Farris II, J.W. Coyle Jr., and James Christopher “Chris” Renfrow.
Survivors include three sons, John Edward (Sheila) Filback, of Cromwell, Donald Ray (Brenda) Filback, of Horse Branch, and Mark Allen (Susie) Filback, of Beaver Dam; three daughters, Lou Ann Coyle, of Beaver Dam, Vickie Elaine (O.W.) Tindle, of Beaver Dam, and Joan Marie (William) Jackson, of Beaver Dam; four sisters, Mary Ellen Filback, of Rosine, Vera C. Filback, of Hartford, Nancy Frances Brown, of Beaver Dam, and Floy Essie Geary, of Horse Branch, 21 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Gleanie Geary officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 A.M. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
