Thomas Wayne Wall, 52, of Fordsville, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1962, in Owensboro, Ky., to Robert Wall and the late Wilda Mae Daniels Wall.
Tommy worked for National Office Furniture in Fordsville for 28 years. He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially being Pap “T” to Stella Rose, Liam Clay and Colebin Jennings. He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed going to horse races, playing cards and coaching girls’ basketball. He also was an avid softball player for 20 years.
Aside from his mother he is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ish Wall and Mary Baker; and his maternal grandparents, Ophelia Daniel and Lambert Daniel.
Tommy is survived by his companion of 10 years, Dana Rearden, of Fordsville; her children, Clay (Sara Beth) Rearden, Destiny (Dakota Dockery) Rearden, all of Beaver Dam; stepmother, Pat Wall; aunts and uncles, Carl (Rose) Wall, Helen Carter, Mary Morris, Ginny Bowlds, Jeannette (Jerry) Drewry, and several cousins.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Diabetes Association, 161 St. Matthews Ave., Ste 3, Louisville, KY 40207 or to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collections Center Drive, Chicago, IL 60693. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
