Freeman Lloyd (Teabo) Jones, 84, of Farmersville, Texas, died Feb.10, 2015, in a McKinney, Texas, hospital. He was born May 12, 1930, in Echols, Ky., the son of Elliott and Ercie Curtis Jones.
He graduated from Rockport High School, Rockport, Ky. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a deacon in the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Annie Mae Jones and his brother, William E. Jones.
He is survived by his daughter, Joyce (Richard) Hagar, of Tenn.; his son, Doug (Lynn) Jones, of Virginia; granddaughter, Ryann Jones; grandsons, Jason Hagar, Steven Hagar, Brad Jones and Jonathan Johnson; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Regina Franklin and June May, of Franklin, Ky., and several nieces and nephews. He was adopted and cared for by two loving families that survive, Bernard and Erika Demars; and sons, B.J. and Nathan, of Greenville, and Rudolpho and Maria Jimenez and children, Elizabeth and Rudolpho, Jr., of Farmersville.
Visitation was Friday, Feb. 13, at Cozine and Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Greenville, Texas. Burial was in the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
