Geraldine Johnson, 69, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at Morgantown Care and Rehab. She was born May 15, 1945, in Select, Ky., to the late Charlie M. and Adle Baize Burden.
She attended Bible Baptist Church in Beaver Dam, was a member of the Korean War Veteran’s Woman’s Auxiliary and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Adle Burden, and her husband, Randall Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Captain Terry Paul (Debbie) Burden, of Morgantown, Kenneth Scott (Wanda) Burden, of North Carolina, and Sandra Lynn Pritchett, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Charlie Burden, Shawn Burden and Kyle Burden; and two step-grandchildren, Tori McKinney and Mattie McKinney.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Glenn Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Cromwell. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
