ImaDoraStrongImo Dora Strong, 90, of Livermore, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at her daughter’s home in Central City. Imo Dora Neal was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Russell and Ruth Brown Neal and was married to Kenneth Ray Strong on Oct. 25, 1946.

Imo Dora was a homemaker, operated Neal & Strong Restaurant in Livermore, and was a member of Livermore United Methodist Church. She was a member the Livermore Women’s Club and also enjoyed sewing and quilting.

In addition to her parents, Imo Dora was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth Strong, who died March 24, 1999.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruth Ann Tucker (Rickey), of Central City; two granddaughters, Dorinda Ijames (Fernando), of Louisville and Kira Penrod (Wesley), of Livermore; two stepgranddaughters, Amber Tucker (Chad), of Central City, and Lacy Tucker, of Alabama; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Allen Neal (Marion), of Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with Pastor Enoch Rich officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Imo Dora’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at Musters in Livermore.
