Frances Louise Calloway Shouse Thompson, 85, of Owensboro, died Jan. 5, 2015. She was born in Ohio County on May 25, 1929, to the late Richard and Margaret Sapp Calloway.
Louise was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, watching old TV, and gospels . Louise loved her family, church, and music.
Louise was preceded in death by her first husband, Forest Shouse; husband, Richard Thompson; sisters, Dorothy Whitler and Mary Ellen Calloway; brother, Elmer Calloway; and one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Ann Kingkade (Randall), Betty F. Tanner (Allen) and Rose Mary Waltz; sons, Clifford L. Shouse and Forest Shouse Jr. (Cindy); nephew, Elmer “Penny” Whitler (June); stepdaughters, Kathy Coin ( Barry) and Carolyn Mounce; stepsons, Neil Thompson and Jeff Thompson; 14 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Tabernacle located at 701 Poindexter, Owensboro. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fordsville. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
