Ina Belle Cooper, 87, of Reynolds Station, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born in Hancock County to the late Martin and Lillian Veach.
She had worked at GE for 18 years, was a homemaker and the greatest mom.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lee Cooper, Jr.; a son, Roger Dale Cooper; and a grandson, Jesse Aaron Richards.
Survivors include four sons, Larry (Ronnah) Cooper and Mike (Lisa) Cooper, both of Fordsville, William (Brenda) Cooper, of Reynolds Station, and David (Karen) Cooper, of Hawesville; four daughters, Linda (Ernest) Young, of Hawesville, Judy (Robert) Young, of Horse Branch, Debbie Edwards (Bill Tewell), of Leitchfield, and Denise Cooper (Edsel Seaton), of Fordsville; two brothers, Marshall (Shirley) Veach, of Philpot, and Basil (Faye) Veach, of Pellville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
