Don Belcher, 75 of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at his residence. Don was born April 27, 1939, in Butler County, Ky., to the late Thurston and Agnes Engler Belcher.
He was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and owner and mechanic of C&D repair.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, H.B. Belcher, and one sister, Lois Cook.
Don Belcher is survived by one son, Chad Belcher, of Morgantown, Ky.; one daughter, Lesa Wallace, husband Mike, of Morgantown, Ky.;two granddaughters, Emily Doss of Greenville, Ky., and Myrrisa Belcher, of Morgantown, Ky.; four grandsons, Stetson Mears, wife Melissa, of Horse Branch, Ky., Zackery Mears, wife Kristin, of Huntsville, Ky., Jonathan Belcher, of Morgantown, Ky., and Kayden Moore; four great-grandchildren, Zayden and Harmony Mears, Harley Childers and Colton Phelps; one brother, Howard Belcher, of Russellville, Ky.; one sister Gertie Latham, of Huntsville, Ky. and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Friday, Dec. 12, at 12 p.m. with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday Dec. 11, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
