Levi Barrow, 89, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky. Levi was born on Saturday, May 16, 1925, in Butler County, Ky., to the late L.C. and Stella Hatcher Barrow.
He was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ, World War II Army Veteran, life long farmer, school bus driver for the Butler County Board of Education for 13 plus years and worked at the Green River Feed Mill for 40 plus years. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson Larry Ward and one son in law Ronald Tines.
Levi Barrow is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Martha Margaret Barrow, of Morgantown, Ky.; two daughters, Stella Barrow and Linda Faye Tines, both of Morgantown, Ky.; one son, William L. Barrow, wife Cynthia, of Morgantown, Ky.; six grandchildren, Scottie Ward, wife Jamie, of Morgantown, Ky., Deanna Jenkins, husband Chelcey, of Morgantown, Ky., Jonathan Tines, wife April, of Tampa, Fla., Wendy Swift, husband Kenny, of Morgantown, Ky., Kayla Barrow, of Morgantown, Ky., and Kate Barrow, of Richmond, Ky.; and seven great-grandchildren, Kasey Ward, of Bowling Green, Ky., Levi Gage Ward and Jacie Ward, of Morgantown, Ky., Heidi Barks, husband Jacob, of New York, Katlyn Morgan, of Beaver Dam, Ky., Trevor and Kelsey Jenkins, of Morgantown, Ky., Alyssa and Jonah Swift, of Morgantown, Ky., and Elijah Barrow, of Morgantown, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Wednesday Dec. 3, at 12 p.m. with Bro. Larry Orange officiating with burial in the Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 12 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
