Herbert F. Crabtree, 90, of Utica, Ky., died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. He was born Feb. 29, 1924, in McLean County, Ky., to the late Robert F. & Sarah Crabtree. He was a farmer and a member of the Hartford Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Colson Crabtree, on July 18, 2010; five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his children, Dewayne Crabtree, of Livermore, Angela Crabtree, of Utica, and Mark Crabtree, of Utica; six grandchildren, Kristi Robinson, Melissa Robinson, Michael Crabtree, James Crabtree, Caitlin Crabtree, and Jacob Crabtree; four great-grandchildren, Shelby O’Flynn, Keagan Robinson, Marquis Merchant II, and Haven Crabtree; and a sister, Stella Smith, of Utica, Ky.
Services are 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro. Graveside service and burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Williams Cemetery in Celina, Tenn. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
