Janice Sue Budack, 73, of Owensboro, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
She was born in Narrows, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Budack; her parents, Roy Hadin and Clara Mae Sorrels; a brother, Joe Sorrels; and a brother-in-law, Clifford “I.V.” Sanders.
Survivors include a daughter, Cara Boling, of Owensboro; a son, Randal Murphy, of Sandy Hook; four stepchildren; two grandchildren, Brandon Boling, of Owensboro, and Taylor Murphy, of Louisville; three sisters, Delois Sorrels (Gary) Owen, of Demotte, Ind., Wanda Sorrels Sanders, of Reynolds Station, and Carolyn Sorrels (Billy Joe) Pharr, of Vina, Ala.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Geary Funeral Home in Fordsville, Ky., with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
