Wendell Ray Midkiff, 73, passed away Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in the Dundee Community of Ohio County, son of the late Ray and Lessie Smith Midkiff.
Wendell was a retired steel worker at Youngstown Steel in Chicago, Ill. He was a member of Steel Workers Union, enjoyed gospel and country music, dancing and shopping.
Survivors include a sister; Wilbia Gillim.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery near Dundee. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
