Oval Deweese, 57, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 15, 1957, in Butler County, Ky., to the late Henry Cisroe and Wima Mae Willoughby Deweese, Sr.
He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Butler County and a retired logger.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Donny Deweese; one brother, Jr. Deweese; and one sister, Robin Deweese.
Survivors include one daughter, Kim Deweese and Brad Jones, of Beaver Dam; three sons, David (Cindy) Deweese, of Beaver Dam, Christian Deweese, of Cromwell, and Steven Hearld, of Beaver Dam; two brothers, Kenny Deweese, of Beaver Dam, and Jeff Bratcher, of Central City; three sisters, Lynn Young, of Beaver Dam, Cathline Morris, of Central City, and Rita Frames, of Hartford, and his stepmother, Wuanita Deweese, of Beaver Dam. Oval was blessed with eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Gary Hines officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
