Paddy Baker Whitehead Daugherty,59, of Campbellsville, Ky.,formerly of Centertown, went on to her heavenly home Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014.
Paddy was a ’73 graduate of Ohio County High School where she was captain of her drill team. She attended Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, was an employee at the Ohio County Clerk’s Office, and during that time she appeared in several Courthouse Players productions. She was a talented cake decorator for many years. Throughout her adult life she was actively involved in women’s ministry. Paddy loved Jesus, her family and music with her whole heart. If you ever met her you’ve met the face of love and compassion and the heart of a servant.
She will be missed by many.
Paddy was preceded in death by her father Edwin Whitehead.
She is survived by her mother, Greta Whitehead; her children, Caleb (Holly) Daugherty, of Evansville, Sarah (Andrew) Ward, of Campbellsville, and Hannah Daugherty, of Campbellsville. Also six grandchildren, Ellie Plunkett, Ezekiel and Olivia Daugherty, Beau, Maryn, Sunny and Jaye Ward; two brothers, Ron (Jinn) Whitehead, of Louisville, and Brad (Barbara) Whitehead, of Owensboro; three sisters, Edie (Joe) Coleman, of Centertown, Robin (Bernie) Tichenor, of Miami, Fla., and Velvet (Leon) Woosley, of Beaver Dam.
Memorial services will be held Monday, Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. at McHenry Baptist Church in McHenry, Ky with Adam Russell officiating. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and Monday from noon until 2 p.m. at McHenry Baptist Church.
