Jerry Wayne Duncan, 61, of Morgantown, Ky., passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at his residence. Jerry was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Frank and Anna Laura Vance Duncan who survives.
He was a graduate of Ohio County High School and University of Kentucky, member of Morgantown Community Church where he was past Elder and current chief greeter, he was a salesman of stocks and insurance and an entrepreneur. Jerry Wayne Duncan is survived by his wife, Deb Montgomery Duncan, of Morgantown; three daughters, Sarah Duncan, of Morgantown, Ky., Amanda Terrell and husband, Jason, of Morgantown, and Lauren Scharlow and husband, Kyle, of Bowling Green, Ky.; son, Brett Duncan, of Elizabethtown, Ky.; two granddaughters, Emma and Layla Terrell, of Morgantown; grandson, Oliver Scharlow, of Bowling Green, Ky.; mother, Anna Laura Duncan, of Hartford, Ky.; brother, Jim Duncan and wife, Sherry, of Centertown, Ky.; two sisters, Sharon Tichenor husband, Bill, of Centertown, Ky., and Debbie Mayes and husband, Larry, of Beaver Dam, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Morgantown Community Church Sunday, Sept. 21, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Josh Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Centertown Cemetery. Visitation Saturday, Sept. 21, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. at the Morgantown Community Church.
