Kenneth Allen Coon, 53, of Horse Branch, passed away, Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at his home. He was born Feb. 18, 1961, in Evansville, Ind., to the late Joseph Thomas and Shirley May Payton Coon.
He was an auto mechanic.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Nicole Coon.
Survivors include his wife, Monica Jean Barton Coon, of Horse Branch; three stepchildren, Jose Ramos, of Louisville, JoAnna Thompson, of Bardstown, and Jessica Smith, of Bardstown; two brothers, Roy Gene Coon, of Horse Branch, and David Coon, of Olaton, and one sister, Kathy Coon, of Horse Branch.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Gleanie Geary officiating. Burial will be in Oller Cemetery in Grayson County. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to the Kenneth Allen Coon Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
