Helen Maxine Ware, 87, of Centertown, Ky., passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Professional Care Health & Rehab Center in Hartford, Ky. She was born April 6, 1927 in Centertown to the late Charlie King and Georgia Lee Goff King.
Mrs. Ware retired from General Electric in Owensboro, Ky., and was a member of Central Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ira Ogden Moseley on Nov. 7, 1969; her second husband, Onis Ware on March 26, 1992, and one daughter, Shirley Lambert on Dec. 16, 2011.
Survivors include her companion, J.C. Elmore of Browder, Ky.; one grandson, Troy Sheffield of White house, Tenn.; one granddaughter, Sonya Linamen (Andy) of Vero Beach, Fla.; four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Bells Run Cemetery in Ohio County, Ky.
