
Bertha was a homemaker and member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Fraley, who died June 17, 2000, and by a daughter, Hilda Gore.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Shultz of Cleveland, Ohio, and Billy Shultz of Owensboro; five daughters, Cissy Hart of Elizabethtown, Donna Mattingly of Louisville, Brenda Henry of Owensboro, Vickie Greenwell of Panther, and Christy Tran of North Carolina; a stepson, Robert Fraley of Cleveland; a stepdaughter, Barbara Fraley of Cleveland; two brothers, J.C. Burgess of St. George, Utah, and Harold Burgess of Beaver Dam; a sister, Stella Harper Galloway of Owensboro; 32 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the Echols Cemetery in Ohio County. Friends may visit with Bertha’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at Musters in Calhoun.
