Anne Abenroth, 69, of Hartford, Ky., passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014, at her daughter’s residence. She was born Feb. 17, 1945, in Bowling Green, Ky., to the late Henry Thomas Withers and Abigail Kelly Withers.
Ms. Abenroth retired from Citizens Bank as manager of the Beaver Dam branch and was a member of Hartford Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Jon Michael Thomas Abenroth (Kim) of Bowling Green; two daughters, Laura Anne Daves (Gary) of Oakland, Ky., and Gretchen Anne Slone (Duane) of New Market, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, Megan Curtis, Audrey Daves, Jessica Daves, Caroline Daves, Oakland Slone, Joseph Slone and Estella Slone; sister, Martha Parker (Carter) of Bowling Green; one niece, Allison Parker of Louisville and one nephew, Kelly Parker of Bowling Green.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., with Rev. Tim Colovos officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, Ky.
