Michael Maurice Walden, 64, Indianapolis and formerly of Crawfordsville, Ind., passed away Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on Oct. 28, 1949, in Crawfordsville to Wendell and Ruth (Palojarvi) Walden.
Mr. Walden graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1967 and had worked for Sysco Food Company. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, sister, Brenda Baker and stepson Wayne Spears.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Walden; daughters, Stephanie (Paul) Walden-Schwake, Christie (Byron) Ford, Cate (Brian) Spaetti; brother, Rick (Becky) Walden; grandchildren, Evan Schwake, Thomas Ford, Zane Ford and Maddox Ford; mother of his children, Fonda Brown of Beaver Dam; current partner, Shirley Spradlin; stepchildren, Lois (Ricky) Cantrell, Carolyn Metcalf, Patricia Welsh, Carilla (Todd) McCord and Robert Spears. Also surviving are three nieces and a nephew.
Cremation was selected with no services at this time.
