Gabriel A. (Gabe) Kenney, of Centertown, Ky., passed from this earthly life to his eternal life with his Lord and Savior on May 15, 2014. Gabe was born on Jan. 12, 1955, to Francis A. “Jock” and Martha (Spaulding) Kenney.
Besides his parents, Gabe was preceded in death by a brother, David P. Kenney; a sister, Cabrini Henson; and three nephews, Kaelyn Kenney, Joshua Henson and Joseph Yocum.
Gabe is survived by six sisters, Hanna Tate, M. Lucy Yocum, Anne Malone, Angela Smith, Rita, Pardee and Judy Kenney; four brothers, Mike, Rafe, John and Paul Kenney; 10 nephews, six nieces, 10 great-nephews, four great-nieces, three step-nieces, one step-nephew, six step-great-nephews, and two step-great-nieces.
There was not a funeral or viewing, Gabe bequeathed his body to the University of Louisville Science Research Program, as this was his final request.
