Betty Marie Conner Geary, age 69, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, formerly of Huntingburg, Ind., passed away at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in the emergency room of Ohio County Hospital in Hartford, Ky.
She was born July 12, 1944, in Huntingburg, Ind., to Rev. Harold V. and Jennie Marie (Emmons) Conner. She retired from Walmart in Beaver Dam, Ky., where she worked as a deli clerk. Betty was a member of the Lighthouse Worship Center in Jasper, Ind., and enjoyed crafting and spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father; and one son, Carl Edward Craig.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Christina L. (Kenny) Deweese of Beaver Dam, Ky.; two sisters- and two brother-in-laws, Glenda S. (Roger) Lutz of Jasper, Ind., Judy A. (Bernie) Bath of Jasper; four granddaughters, Jennie (Michael) Baker of Morgantown, Ky., Melissa Volz of Morgantown, Ky., Amanda (Adam) Workman of Beaver Dam, Ky., Tori Workman of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Betty Marie Conner Geary will be held at 2 p.m., E.S.T., on Friday, March 7, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. The Reverend Roger Lutz will officiate at the funeral.
