Mildred Imogene Haven, 92, of Carterville, Ill., formerly of Ohio County, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at her home. She was born March 29, 1921, in the Taylor mine Community of Ohio County to the late Herman and Laura Cooper Stewart.
She was an assembly line worker for G.E. and was of Baptist Faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie C. Haven; four brothers, Sam Stewart, Owen Stewart, Claymore Stewart and George Stewart; one sister, Bernice Adams and one son-in-law, Tom Schwartz.
Survivors include her son, Joe Michael (Carol) Haven of Carterville, Ill.; her daughter, Clara Schwartz of Mauston, Wisc.; her brother, David Stewart of Beaver Dam; four grandchildren, Tommy (Dawn) Schwartz and Timmy (Dawn) Schwartz, Tinna (Jason) Stanley and Jodi (Shane) Watts and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at William L. Danks Funeral Home with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
