Bobbie Jean Smiley, 82, of Greenville, Ky., went to join her Lord and husband on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. She was born June 10, 1931, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Claude Ambrose and Georgia Martin Pryor.
Mrs. Smiley was a member of Collier Springs General Baptist Church in Todd County, a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Nolen Smiley on Feb. 11, 2013.
Survivors include one son, Nolen Steven Smiley (Becky) of McHenry; one daughter, Shelda Young (Ronald) of Greenville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one sister, Wanda Jacob of Owensboro.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at the Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., with Bro. David Blake officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Bells Run Cemetery in Pleasant Ridge, Ky.
