Marlene H. Muffett, 80, of Hartford, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Beaver Dam Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Hartford to the late Edwin O. and Yettie Taylor Howell.
She was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ, was retired from G.E. in Owensboro, enjoyed her garden, yard work, yard saleing and her kids were the love of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Muffett; a son, Danny Frames and a daughter, Linda B. Smith; two sisters, Dimple Howell and Ramona Goff and a brother, Roy Lee Howell.
Survivors include three sons, Kenny (Jean) Frames of Hartford, Terry and Dick of Olaton, David (Rita) Frames Hartford; five brothers, Jerry (Linda) Howell of Indiana, James (Dottie) Howell of Nicho, Ky., Tommy (Brenda) Howell of Beaver Dam, Ronnie (Maria) Howell of Spain, Donnie (Jene) Howell of Olaton; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services are 12 Noon Monday at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Larry Embry officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
