Janice Hawkins Warner, 66, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Janice Sue Hawkins was born May 17, 1947, in Owensboro, Ky., to the late Charles Noble and Pearl Cooley Hawkins and was married to Howard Lee Warner, Sr. on Nov. 16, 1964.
Janice was a homemaker and member of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed shopping, and spending time with both her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Warner and by a brother, David Hawkins.
Survivors include three sons, Howard Warner, Jr., Tony Warner, and Charles Warner all of Owensboro; two daughters, Tammy Burden of Centertown and Shellie Warner of Owensboro; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Charles Hawkins of Owensboro; and two sisters, Beverly Velotta of Rockport and Carolyn Lanham of Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel. Burial will be in the New Macedonia Cemetery in Daviess County. Friends may visit with Janice’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 12 p.m. (noon) until time of services Tuesday at Musters in Calhoun.
