JackieBashamJackie G. Basham, 81, of 510 Charles Street, Livermore, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Jackie Garst Basham was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Island, Ky., to the late Floyd and Gertie Mae Garst Basham.

Jackie was the owner and operator of Jack’s Pool Room in Livermore, a member of Livermore Missionary Baptist Church, and a member of Livermore Lodge # 186 F. & A.M. for more than 40 years. He was an avid University of Kentucky Basketball and St. Louis Cardinals fan.

In addition to his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by a sister, Nell Thomasson Brown.

Survivors include three sisters, Betty Basham of Livermore, Jenith Heflin of Louisville and Linda Vaught of Centertown; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Muster Funeral Homes, Livermore Chapel with the Rev. Clive Bell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Livermore. Friends may visit with Jackie’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at Musters in Livermore. Masonic services for Jackie will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Musters in Livermore.

The Jackie G. Basham family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Heartford House; 2914 Old Hartford Road; Owensboro, Ky. 42303. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Livermore.
