Derotha Faye Naue, 66, of Horse Branch, Ky., passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Beaver Dam Health & Rehab Center. She was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Arnold, Ky., to the late Robert Geary and Sally Evans Geary.
Faye was a homemaker and a member of Lone Star General Baptist Church in Centertown. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Naue, Sr. on July 24, 2009.
Survivors include three sons, James Edward Naue, Jr. (Kailoni) of Hartford, Steven Kent Naue (Brittany) of Horse Branch and Richard Alan Naue (Savannah) of Central City; two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Chapman (Chad) of Olaton and Annette Faye Thompson (Tim) of Horse Branch; 14 grandchildren, Taylor Naue, Colby Chapman, Collin Chapman, Harlie Naue, Shayla Naue, Zander Naue, Bella Naue, Bryna Naue, Zaiden Naue, Josiah Naue, Justin Thompson, Sarah Thompson, Emily Thompson and Breanna Ashby; three brothers, Ronnie Geary of Dexterville, Ky., Bill Geary (Cherlyn) of Renfrow, Ky., and Ray Geary (Wendy) of Dexterville, Ky.; four sisters, Matty Bratcher (Royce) of Cromwell, Sandy Phelps (Gary) of Centertown, Kay Kassinger (Kent) of Beaver Dam and Ann Fillmore (Dave) of Camby, Ind.; mother-in-law, Alice Mae Naue of Indianpolis, Ind., and one brother-in-law, Alan Naue (JoAnn) of Greenwood, Ind.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday Nov. 14, at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., with Bro. Ricky Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Harmony Cemetery in Butler County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
