Thomas Michael Simpson, 58, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 12, 1955, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Thomas Milligan and Ruby Phillips Simpson.
He was of Baptist Faith and a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Yager Material in Owensboro.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one step-son, Charles Allen; three brothers, Marshall Ray Simpson, Richard Calvin Simpson, and Guy Rocky Simpson, and one great-grandchild, Parker Johnson.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Jeanetta Allen Simpson of Beaver Dam; one daughter, Trinity Michele (Scott) Bullington of Cross Plains, Tenn.; one step-daughter, Tonja (Will Jessie) Heflin of Centertown; one brother, Stevie (Lynn) Simpson of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Judy (Bill) Bryant of Rosine and Marcia (Lonnie) Mills of Inez. Michael was blessed with seven grandchildren, Angelia Nicole Deweese, Jonah William Deweese, Ireland Nicole White, Kiefer Wayne White, Britney Allen, Corey Heflin, and Zach Heflin and three great-grandchildren, Jayla Johnson, Maelynn Johnson, and Mileia Raley.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., Sunday and 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
