Cindy L. White, 75, of Fordsville, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born March 16, 1938, in Rosine to the late Zebedee and Cova Imus Hayse.
She was of Baptist Faith and was a retired CNA at Fordsville Nursing Home.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, I.J. White; a brother, David Hayse and four sisters, Leatrice Fisher, Katherine Pulliam, Josephine Woods and Patsy Irvin.
Survivors include two sons, James White and wife Toni of Maceo and Jeff White and companion Pam Wilkerson of Owensboro; two daughters, Gail Arnold of Owensboro and Nelda Riggs and husband Gary of Caneyville; two brothers, Stanley Hayse of Beaver Dam and William Hayse of Beaver Dam; six sisters, Betty Geary of Horse Branch, Shirley Faye Sztanya of Louisville, Dorothy Moore of Morgantown, Martha Jackson of Owensboro, Margo Gallion of Beaver Dam and Christine Dugan of Horse Branch, 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Gerald Geary officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ohio County. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
