Sue Willoughby, 64, of Beaver Dam, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013, at Owensboro Regional Health Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1949, in Ohio County, Ky., to the late Marvin and Gladys Simpson Holland.
She was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church in Fordsville and a Homemaker.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, Ruth, Jack, Harold, Roger, Lake, Jin, Roy, Ester, Bill.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Tommy Willoughby of Beaver Dam; two sons, Tommy Wayne (Jenny) Willoughby and Rodney (Margaret) Willoughby; one daughter, Kathy White; two brothers, Jerry Holland and Darrell Holland both of Beaver Dam; two sisters, Linda Embry and Carol Willis both of Beaver Dam. Sue was blessed with eight grandchildren, Pamela, Eric (Lauren), Michelle, Chris, Tonya, Erin, Trey, Anna, and six great-grandchildren, Gracie, Tanner, Brooklyn, Abby Sue, Reagan, and Holden.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 24, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, with Rev. Jerry Don Hall and Rev. Tim Hall officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery in Butler County, Ky. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
