Freeda Faye Dorgan, 91, died Monday, May 27, 2013 at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. She was born June 5, 1921 in Pine Knob, Ky., to the late Ike Hill and Nellie Stevens Hill.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, after 38 years of service and enjoyed gardening and being with her family.
Mrs. Dorgan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dorgan, in Feb. 2001; three brothers, Lester Hill, Chester Hill and Edgar Hill; and sisters, Lorine Barnett and Imogene Kidd and a nephew, Ralph Hill.
Survivors include six nephews, Roger Hill of Beaver Dam, Harold Hill of Madisonville, Ky., Herbert R. Barnett of Morganfield, Ky., Carl B. Kidd of Maitland, Fla., Lyndell L, Hill of Irvington, Ky., and Darryl Hill of Indianapolis, Ind., and four nieces, Brenda K. Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio, Anna Bailey of Beaver Dam, Barbara Carol Gray of Welch, Va., and Joyce E. Smith of Centertown, Ky.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 31, at 3 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
